Herbar is an Amsterdam-based skincare line powered by fungi and adaptogens. Guided by their philosophy that "beauty can be healing", we created a conceptual photo series designed for press placement. The creative direction envisioned an alien species discovering Earth — and with it, the transformative power of beauty. The result is a visual story that merges the surreal with the organic, evoking a sense of wonder and unfamiliarity. All production was handled in-house. From the photography, to the custom nail art crafted using UV resin, to the set design where mushrooms were hand-colored using powdered pigments.
